Wings

I’ve always loved to fly.  Not only is air travel, in my opinion, one of man’s greatest achievements, but the opportunity to see the world from miles above is nothing short of awe inspiring.  Plus that feeling of movement, that you’re going somewhere, never ceases to amaze me, no matter how uninteresting the ultimate destination may be.

I took this photo with my iPhone in April while flying back to LA from a job in Philadelphia.  It was on this flight that I began to flirt with the idea of creating some sort of photography blog; so this pic seemed an appropriate shot to get things started.

My hope is to post a new picture each day to this site, a “Pic of the Day” if you will. The images will run the gamut of photography, from landscapes to portraits, concert pics to food porn.  Some photos will be quite old, and some will have been taken the same day that they’re posted.

I appreciate you taking the time to check out this digital gallery of my work, and I hope you’ll come back soon.  A special thank you goes out to Robert of Looplava for helping to launch this and so many other amazing websites.  Thanks R!
