We interrupt this series of Ireland photographs to bring you a shot of the ever-growing fire in the San Gabriel Mountains. I went up to Mulholland Drive yesterday afternoon to get this pic, having seen the plume of smoke in the distance for a couple of days now. To the naked eye, it seriously looks like an atom bomb went off out there, and I cannot imagine being a firefighter trying to take on this blaze, especially with the heat wave we’re currently experiencing. Those guys are crazy. I mean, they’re heros. Crazy heros. God speed, firefighters.
