Here’s a shot I took of my friend Kristie’s dog, Bo, back when he was a pup. I just love those eyes and can’t help but wonder what he’s thinking. This pic kind of reminds me of the amazing film, Baraka, and specifically, the many shots of animals in the piece and the human quality of their eyes. It’s just so unfortunate that as a species, we so often ignore how much we have in common with all of the other animals we share this planet with…

this such a beautiful picture. What a beautiful dog..perfect balance of colors and those eyes!

i’ve always said this dog is a person trapped in a dog’s body…i expect it to speak (like words) at any moment.
